This Morning <3
New picture from the photoshoot, she looks STUNNING!

Singer Diana Vickers tells us about her stage career and plans for debut album.

The cute blonde, who finished fourth in last year’s X Factor competition, is about to make her West End debut in the starring role of LV in Jim Cartwright’s multi award-winning play The Rise and Fall of Little Voice.

The play is described as a black comedy-drama, which evolves around the painfully shy Little Voice who has a talent for impersonating the voices from records.

Diana, from Burnley, Lancashire, says she is thrilled to have won the role of LV but admits that it has been hard work.

She says: "I have had to learn so many impersonations. We all started rehearsals in September, but I have been practising since at least August. In the past few months, I have perfected the sounds of icons such as Dusty Springfield, Marilyn Monroe, Julie Andrews, and Julie Garland … It has been hard - but practice makes perfect!"

Diana has taken a short break from recording her debut album to star in Little Voice, but she has co-written the album and says she is really pleased with the results.

She recently signed a record deal to RCA records and her album is due for release early 2010.

She says: "It feels like my own work and I have a real sense of achievement."

Talking of her X Factor pals Diana says: "I still keep in touch with my chums, such as JLS, Eoghan, Ruth, Alexander and Rachel. Ruth is such a close friend of mine, and Rachel text me just the other day!"
